About my practice...

Mental and Emotional Foundations of Soul Healing

Words are powerful tools for healing. Our speech reveals how we're put together and what our emotional systems are up to. From the day we're born (if not before!) the words of other people help make us who we are. Words spoken and shared in therapy can transform old hurts to create new pathways for success and meaningful engagement in life.  Difficult life experiences (or early ones) may be hard to put into words, that is, to symbolize. Unsymbolized experience keeps us locked into our suffering. Liberating the true Self begins with bringing all of these experiences into being through words.

Liberating the Spiritual Self

A wonderful journal of your experiences in this solar system--past and present, in Earth and in other dimensions--is accessible through your soul aspect.  Conscious union with this aspect of your whole being is a basic step in manifesting your true Self in Earth.  Before full light body expression through your third dimensional body can take place, the soul record must be explored and cleared.  Old patterns and scars from past traumas must be acknowledged and healed so that they will not obstruct or distort the birth of the light body. This process is called soul healing.

My soul healing practice is based on cosmic laws and spiritual principles as taught by ascended masters of this solar system for thousands of years.  While my formal training is organized around psychoanalysis and contemplative psychotherapy, I also draw on ideas from many other spiritual and mental health traditions.  However, the core of my practice is a respectful connection with my own higher Self and that of the person with whom I am working, for the highest good of all life forms on the planet.  Every person is a pure seed of light, of intrinsic health and wholeness.  My role is to be as a midwife to the soul through which this seed -- the light body -- is born into physical expression.

Connection with your higher Self is the safest and surest way to heal your soul.  Such a connection provides a firm foundation for transformation of the mortal personality, as well as sound Self-guided exploration of a number of spiritual pathways and practices.

I do a lot of listening and ask a fair number of questions. What you want from therapy and what you say about your life and your experiences will guide how we proceed in your sessions. I work with a wide range of mental and emotional suffering such as those referred to as depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment to major life changes, and the challenges of spiritual growth and development.
